Personal Profile

Hi my name is Josh, I'm a level designer for Unity for 7 years and Unreal for 2 years. I have extensive knowledge with unreal landscape tools, foliage tool, blueprints and material editor, loads on optimization (making your levels run smoothly), lightmapping, rendering, and so much more. I'm an extremely dedicated worker, friendly, and willing to work until the job is done. Loyalty and hardwork defines me as a person and I assure anyone that works with me, that you will not regret getting me on your team. To make it clear, I'm only a level designer that designs levels with given assets. I'm learning to do 3D modeling/environmental artist. Have small knowledge on C# code (Basic code)

Job Title: Lead Level Designer

My responsibilities: Design the levels for Fox Delta Command. Working only large terrains and maintaining a high detail with a great rendering system to maintain a 30-60 frame rate during the level. Working close to the team, modellers, programmers to make the game as best as it can be. Also communicating to the team to solve any problems with the game events/level events/game code.

Job Title: Senior Level Designer

My responsibilities: were to design the levels for the game and ensure that the map runs at the right frame rate so it does not crash or lag out

Job Title: Lead Level Designer

My responsibilities: Designing the levels for Last Genesis was a tough challenge as the level were very large and required a big deal of rendering to keep a good frame rate. Designing over 6 levels, fixed all bugs within the maps, interacted with the team to get the job done. Also improved on my level designing skills able to create living landscapes without using and editor extension.

My responsibilities: To help create the system ideas and how they should function when users use them. Also testing the software from the beta with finding bugs and help improve the system to be easier and powerful terrain generation system.

My responsibilities: Helping the level designing of the game Yukidama, which has now been released on steam greenlight. I was in charge of coordinating with artist to help create the environment for the game and developing some interesting gae mechanics.
